Past Life Regression
Past Life Regression (PLR) is based on the theory of re-incarnation. After exiting the physical body we become unlimited spirits and after a certain period of time of being in transition, we re-enter a different body to experience a subsequent life. The reason behind this is for our spirit to learn all the lessons possible to become complete. There is no transmigration, meaning that we can come back as male/female, young/old; but not as an animal or rock!
- Sometimes the next life is different. However, if in THIS life we didn’t learn what we came here to learn, then the next life might have similar experiences because we still need to learn “that” lesson.
- Time is a concept conceived by man. So, returning to a human body immediately or centuries later is basically the equivalent of an eye blink when it comes to travelling between lives.
- We all have free will to choose our intentions; to come back and be whoever we want to be.
- Any type of client can be regressed - as long as they believe in it.
WHO is the best qualified to do PLRs?
Hypnotherapists who have studied how to access the subconscious mind. As an HMI graduate, Maureen is amongst those who are the most qualified to do PLRs because she not only had the full training in hypnotherapy, but has also taken additional certification programs that allows her to use all her tools to assist the client. Accessing the subconscious mind gives us access to not only the Modern Memory, but also the Primitive mind, where theoretically the Past Lives’ Memories are stored.
WHAT is a PLR?
It’s the act of remembering/releasing/getting closure/ accepting responsibility with regards to something that’s going on in this present life. Maureen can use PLRs to help the client resolve this mind/body issue. The client usually gets closure as to why “this” is happening in this lifetime.
WHEN is a PLR done?
When my clients request it. I, as hypnotherapist, would never force a client in any situation to experience a PLR if they’re not ready to. The client ALWAYS has to ask. When I do a PLR, I always make sure that the client is comfortable, and I book extra time, so that the client has all the time that he/she needs to experience this as fully as possible. They might experience 1 or 9 past lives in one session.
WHERE do we do PLRs?
I usually do PLRs in my office – in a clinic setting. However, I’m not limited to that either. Should a group of friends want to experience a group session – I’ve attended Past Life Regression Parties where all the guests experienced it together. During the one-on-one session I always give the client a recording of the PLR as:
- they might not recall all the details
- whenever they re-listen to it, it might give them more insight as to what they’re going through at the time.
WHY does it work?
It works because it gives us access to the subconscious mind. Whether the client’s asking to experience it for clinical reasons or simply for fun – the client achieves resultsanyway.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A. How do clients experience PLRs?
Some clients see it, while others live it, while others sense it, while others hear it. I let the client decide subconsciously which way is the best way for them to experience it.
- As their hypnotherapist, I always guide my clients into determining how to experience their PLRs . I give the client the choice of either living it OR seeing it on a movie screen, where they can go back and forth and feel safe.
- When they experience a lifetime – I instruct them to ‘LET GO’ of the negative, to get the learning from that lifetime and move on.
- I have the client ask himself/herself, “what’s the significance of this experience?” Allow yourself to get closure. Remember that each and every time we experience something, we learn from it and we grow, mentally and emotionally. Now YOU have a new understanding with regards to ____.
- Remember, even if it’s a memory, a fantasy or simply imagination - your subconscious mind will take you on the RIGHT journey for you.
What does the client get out of a PLR?
The client can actually get closure regarding an issue that they’ve been dealing with over a period of time. The reason that that particular issue exists is because there’s a conflict between what the conscious and the subconscious minds have as experiences/wants/desires/needs. So with a PLR, that subconscious conflict will be vented and the conscious mind will then be able to move on.
Why are PLRs successful?
I like to explain to my clients that PLRs are successful because once they find the underlying cause – they’ll have a deeper understanding of what’s really going on and they’ll get closure and FINALLY be able to move on.
What do PLRs assist with?
PLRs assist with:
- weight issues (if due to prior history – see what results the client had when they weighed less in a past life)
- fears and phobias (due to mortal wounds in Past Life)
- pain ( due to injuries or killing methods of Past Life)
- releasing issues ( old feud/ negative relationship w/family member)
- resolving current issues indirectly.
- Recurring patterns in current relationships/ employment ( due to old negative subconscious knowns )
- Writer’s block, music directors, set designers, costume designers ( lack of muse/creativity)and many more...
How can we resolve these issues? As a hypnotherapist, I can assist my clients by giving them access to more information, so that they have the choice of deciding whether to change their subconscious knowns by:
- letting go
- implanting new positive knowns in their SCM
- assisting them in taking the positive learning from that life and give themselves permission to forget the death experience
- assisting them in reliving positive experiences with that family member
- showing them their strengths and how they survived and overcame hurdles
- taking them back to that time period, so that they can experience it firsthand.
